This year has been weird.
Like how at the last minute, we had to pivot our normally 400-person conference into a virtual experience.
Ironically, our first speaker of the RVE Summit was slated to be Kathy Holcombe who planned on talking about how to run a business in times of uncertainty. And even though it was recorded live as part of our event in March, her words still ring true six months later. Because things still feel uncertain. The future always feels uncertain.
In her talk, Kathy shares stories about her travels and adventures and how she learned to persevere in the face of severe uncertainty. Like when she was pretty sure there was a bear outside her tent and when she was hiking in the mountains and had to run from a hurricane. Or like when she started a new business right before 9/11. And then again right before the recession.
Life (and business) are full of uncertainty.
But every day we press on brings us closer to where we want to be.
