Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek Antalya Hotel Review

Türkiye is one of my favourite destinations, but I’ve never had the pleasure of staying at an upscale resort there until very recently, when I enjoyed a Jet2Holidays holiday to Turkey and stayed at a luxury all-inclusive resort in Belek, Antalya.

This is my honest review of Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek Hotel in Antalya.

I stayed at Titanic Deluxe Belek in February, which is during Antalya’s winter season.

This meant a lot of the hotel facility were closed, and this is something to keep in mind if you book a stay at Titanic Deluxe Belek in winter.

You’ll likely get a cheaper deal if you visit Antalya in the off-season, but less of the resort is available to you.

I’ll detail which facilities, bars etc are open at Titanic Deluxe Belek during winter in my hotel review below. I’ll also share some things I think could be improved, and some tips for visiting the Antalya region.

TIP FOR YOUR TIME IN TURKIYE: I recommend hiring a car to explore the region, because Antalya’s top attractions are quite spread out. You can check prices for car hire in Antalya here Alternatively, book tours and excursions from Titanic Deluxe Belek via GetYourGuide.

My honest review of Titanic Deluxe

Located less than an hour’s drive from Antalya Airport and 8.2km from the resort centre of Belek, Titanic Deluxe Belek Hotel is a Jet2Holidays hotel.

Some of the hotel’s highlights are 36-hole on-site golf course, 13 bars, 15 restaurants, one of the largest spas in Antalya and an impressive array of facilities for kids and big kids alike.

It’s one of Jet2’s ‘Luxe Collection’, so I knew I was in for a treat.

The resort in Antalya really does cater to everyone; whether your ideal holiday is spent on the golf course, at the spa or splashing in the water park.

My first impression of the hotel was very positive.

The lobby area reminds me of the hotels I used to brunch in when I lived in Dubai: all polished marble, oversized floral arrangements and gleaming surfaces.

On arrival, we were offered small glasses of homemade lemonade or detox water, and served pieces of delicately flavoured Turkish delight.

This welcome set the tone for our stay, and I quickly realised that Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek is a cut above other large all-inclusive hotels I’ve stayed at in the past.

I learned this calibre of accommodation is to be expected in Antalya, where the hotel resorts are destinations in themselves.

Suites at Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek

You can choose from 14 different room types at Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek.

I stayed in a corner suite on the third floor, room 2329. It was huge. It’s hard to believe this is one of the more ‘basic’ room options the hotel offers!

Other, more boujee options include a Maldives Room, Swim Up Bali Room or Family Garden Suite.

Corner suites have two large balconies and a pool view that stretches across the banks of the the Besgoz River and to the mountains beyond, the tallest of which were still dusted with snow in February.

In the mini bar, there’s a selection of soft drinks plus two cans of the local lager, Efes.

The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, but no bath.

I was impressed to find a complete toiletries station in the bathroom, complete with razor and shaving cream, dental kit and body lotion.

If you’re low-maintenance in the self-care department, you could easily come to the hotel with nothing but SPF and get on fine.

My room got quite warm and the air con didn’t seem to work, so I asked at Guest Services and was told that the heat is controlled centrally, so the only way to cool the room down is to open the balcony door.

I was very happy with my room, but in the interest of making this review as helpful as possible, I’ll note a few things you might like to be aware of.

As a woman who sometimes travel solo, I always put the safety latch on my hotel door. That way, I know that even somebody with a key couldn’t get in uninvited. It irked me that mine had been broken off, but I asked around and it turns out to be the same throughout all rooms at the hotel.

There are security cameras covering the whole corridor so this did ease any worries about safety.

The other small criticism is that the TV isn’t opposite the bed, but the sofa. So if you’re someone who watches TV in bed on holiday, you might be a little disappointed. It didn’t bother me, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Food and drink at Titanic Deluxe Belek

There are a slightly dizzying 15 restaurants at Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek including 4 buffet restaurants and 11 à la carte restaurants.

The à la carte restaurants are beautifully decorated and genuinely wouldn’t look out of place in LA. They serve cuisine ranging from Turkish to Italian, Japanese to Greek.

The majority of these eateries are located along the banks of the river and each has a funky sculpture or some other intriguing design feature outside.

On top of this, the hotel has 13 bars including a pool bar, beach bar, coffee bar, lobby bar, disco, Irish pub and a snack bar.

Some of the outdoor bars were closed for winter, but we were never left thirsty.

I was almost six months pregnant during my visit so unfortunately I can’t share a first-hand review of the cocktail menu like I normally would, but they certainly looked delicious!

I had a strawberry-ginger mocktail one night that was excellent.

I absolutely loved the Turkish-style tea house with its array of brightly-coloured tea in jars.

It’s open late, so I often went there for a solo cup of tea while my travel companions enjoyed the Irish bar and club.

How times have changed for me!

Another hotspot for this pregnant lady with a sweet tooth was the patisserie, where you could get beautiful coffee, cakes and ice cream.

Cordelia Lobby bar is an elegant space leading onto an outdoor terrace where you can sit on comfortable couches and sip an aperitif.

I ate breakfast in the buffet restaurant every day of my stay, and also sampled the lunch offering a couple of times. I had dinner in the buffet restaurant once or twice too.

I thought the food at Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek was fantastic.

The breakfast spread at Titanic Deluxe Belek is impressive with raw honeycomb, a selection of flavoured butters and the largest jam selection I’ve ever seen.

The real thing that stood out for me though was the fact that the hotel has various live cooking stations serving traditional Turkish pastries like spinach or potato-filled gözleme, Turkish-style scrambled eggs and more.

The waiting staff at the buffet are incredibly on the ball.

My drink order was taken as soon as I sat down (freshly squeezed orange juice) and one man brought me the spoon I’d neglected to pick up for my yoghurt before I even realised I needed one.

I can’t stop there without mentioning the desserts – they were incredible! The selection extended beyond Turkish classics like baklava, to international sweets like Basque cheesecake and tiramisu.

Pools and spa at Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek

The beautiful outdoor pools were all either closed or completely devoid of people in February, so if you visit during the off-season you may find you have a whole pool to yourself.

The outdoor pool at the spa was my favourite place to relax in the sun.

The Befine Spa itself is spread over 13.000 m² area. The indoor pool is large enough to swim lengths in and heated to a delicious 30 degrees, and there are also two jacuzzis.

The jewel in the crown of the spa is the Turkish Bath, which has areas you can close off for privacy.

The spa has a dedicated ‘health bar’ which serves fresh juices, and there’s a fridge with bottled water at the outdoor pool.

I didn’t use the gym, but my friends did and they spoke about how good it was, saying it had everything you need for a great workout.

Titanic Deluxe Belek Hotel’s facilities for kids

Is Titanic Deluxe Belek Hotel good for kids?

Well, I may not have my own children yet, but being pregnant I found myself checking out elements of the resort I wouldn’t normally notice and I’d definitely say it’s great for kids.

Türkiye is known for being a family-friendly destination and the hotel even had baby food jars at the breakfast buffet!

The buffet restaurant has a separate area for children that’s decorated like a train, so they can either dine in the train itself or at one of the cute miniature tables surrounding it.

I have family in Türkiye so it was always likely to be one of our first family holidays with our baby, and now this hotel is firmly on my radar.

He or she may still be a bump, but my stay at Titanic Deluxe made me keen to return with baby in tow.

I had a wander through the Tini Kids club and was very impressed. There’s a decent-sized soft play area, arts and crafts and even a nap area.

I imagine little ones would be very happy there!

The Tini Kids Club is for ages 3 to 13 and Teenage Club for ages 14 to 17.

Outside the kids club, there’s a kids’ ampitheatre and another play area.

Next, the ‘Game Center’, which is a playground for children and adults alike. This section of the hotel was the busiest area in winter, likely because it’s all indoors and so provides ample entertainment on cooler nights.

There are dodgems (temporarily out of order during our visit), basketball hoop machines, arcade games, table hockey, pool tables, table football, ping pong, fairground rides for toddlers, punching bag games and more.

The hotel’s 8D Cinemagic (out of service when we visited) and four-lane bowling alley are also located in the Games Center.

Titanic Deluxe Belek’s on-site aqua park is closed during winter. I imagine you’d have to be careful to avoid that area if you visited with kids, because it might not go down well if they could see it but couldn’t experience it!

It looked brilliant though, with splash areas for smaller kids and slides for older ones.

The waterpark features 9 adult slides from 3 towers, a 210 m² swimming pool and a kids’ pool with Aquatower.

I recommend taking a riverside walk along the edge of the golf course down to the beach.

The pleasant route is about 4km long and on the path, you’ll pass many of the a la carte restaurants.

I hadn’t done too much research into the facilities at the Titanic Deluxe Belek before my trip, so you can imagine my surprise when I encountered a goat on my walk the first morning!

I looked around and found a full petting zoo with chickens, goats, sheep, horses etc.

Kids would love the horse riding lessons at the hotel.

Set a little back from the beach, you’ll find yet another kids playground.

After the mini zoo there’s a pier where you can catch a boat back up the river to the main hotel building at no cost.

I actually had the river cruise all to myself!

Alternatively, the resort has a little train you can hop on to get around. It wasn’t running during my winter stay at Titanic Deluxe Belek.

Don’t expect a white sand beach at the Titanic Deluxe Belek Hotel. It’s 1km of dark sand and stones, but still very nice!

The beach cabanas were packed away during my winter stay and the beach was almost empty. I found it very peaceful.

Other facilities at Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek

In the ‘square’ there are plenty of shops, from designer sunglasses stores to clothes boutiques. There’s even a mini mart.

The hotel shops are on the pricier side, so you may want to pack everything you need or shop while you’re out exploring Antalya.

Keen golfers will love this hotel. The Cullinan Links Golf Club is available for use.

Other things to know about staying at Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek

All of the staff I encountered spoke a good level of English.

I did notice some single-use plastic in the spa for example, and I was surprised to find that the straws were plastic.

There are tip boxes displayed prominently in the buffet restaurant.

Lifts are quick.

During my visit I noticed that the hotel guests were predominantly male, possibly there for conferences as the hotel has a convention centre.

There isn’t too much directly outside of the hotel grounds, so I do recommend hiring a car or booking day trips to explore Antalya.

Is it worth staying at Titanic Deluxe Belek in Winter?

I hope you found my unbiased review of Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek helpful!

I’ve tried to include as much detail as possible, but obviously there were certain elements of the hotel that I’m unable to share a firsthand review of because I didn’t get to experience them.

I think Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek in Antalya is worth visiting in winter, providing you go with a more chilled holiday in mind and understand that some of the outdoor pools bars and facilities may not be operating.

Overall, I thought it was a fabulous resort in Antalya and I’d definitely revisit, though probably in the summer months.
