The park is conveniently located to nearby attractions and just an hour from Louisville, Kentucky, and Cincinnati, Ohio. This Kentucky RV park is a traveler’s dream come true!
While you’re here, visit nearby attractions, which include horseback riding, The ARK Encounter, the Veterans Wildlife Memorial Park, and Historic Georgetown.
At Whispering Hills, RVers have access to electrical hookups, Wi-Fi, bathhouses, and laundry. The park is also pet-friendly, so bring your furry friends along, too.
2. Northern Kentucky RV Park
Northern Kentucky RV Park is located in Dry Ridge, just 30 minutes from Cincinnati and an hour from Lexington. Designed to accommodate modern RVs up to 45 feet long, this Kentucky RV park provides a peaceful atmosphere you’ll love.
The RV park has a playground, convenience store, and gorgeous waterfront RV sites. Management is on-site to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. They also sell firewood.
As a guest, you have access to laundry facilities, restrooms, and Wi-Fi. There’s also a propane and dump station. Sites include electric, water, and sewer hookups.

3. 4 Guys RV Park
Located only a half mile from the notorious haunted Nada Tunnel in the Red River Gorge, 4 Guys RV Park offers great amenities to RVers. The park features a vintage camper rental and full hook-up sites designed to fit RVs between 50 and 75 feet, depending on the space.
The park hosts many fun events, including Halloween crafts and games in October. 4 Guys RV Park is also close to other fun attractions, such as the Kentucky Reptile Zoo, Hollerwood Offroad Adventure Park, and The Skylift at Natural Bridge.
This is the perfect Kentucky RV park vacation spot! Other park features include a camp store, a pond, a playground, and a laundry room. Non-aggressive pets are allowed as well.
4. Elkhorn Creek RV Park
Located in the capital of Kentucky, Elkhorn Creek RV Park is a family-friendly park on Elkhorn Creek. Some sites border the creek, making this an ideal place to stay for people who love kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and the calming sounds of water.
Well-maintained RV sites are available for vehicles up to 45 inches. Guests can choose between full hook-up and electric- and water-only sites.
The Kentucky RV park’s amenities also include a 9-hole putt-putt golf course, a playground, and a pool open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekends.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the park, cable is available at most sites, and the park is conveniently located near Frankfort attractions.
Frankfort is best known for its rich history and bourbon ties. Tours meet several times a month at Elkhorn Creek RV Park for a full day of visiting and taste-testing at local distilleries in the area.

5. Chimney Rock RV Park
Located in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Chimney Rock RV Park is well-maintained and a favorite place to set up camp for the summer (and beyond). Adjacent to Lake Harrington, this Kentucky RV Park is a peaceful place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The park has a restaurant within walking distance, and the park has a pool and a hot tub! Wi-Fi is available throughout the park, a playground is available for the kids, and Chimney Rock Marina is next door with boat rentals and a boat launch.

6. Green County RV Park
Situated in Greensburg, Green County RV Park is a small 10-site RV park. This Kentucky RV park offers daily, weekly, and monthly rates. All sites are 30/50-amp full hookup sites that can accommodate vehicles up to 45 feet long.
Spaces can accommodate slide-outs on both sides, and each site has a postal mailbox. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the RV park, and a community-styled bathhouse is available.
At Green County RV Park, RVers have easy access to the Green River Paddle Trail. The trail provides easy access to several river entrance spots, and canoe and kayak rentals are available.
All sites are pet-friendly.
7. City of Pikeville RV Park
Operated by the City of Pikeville, this Kentucky RV Park is close to downtown and many of the city’s main attractions, including the Appalachian Center for the Arts, Overlook Events Center, and Dueling Barrels Brewery and Distillery.
The RV park has 21 sites that feature 30/50-amp hook-ups, continuous sewer hookups, free Wi-Fi, and free cable. Pets are allowed as long as they remain on a leash that is 6 feet or shorter at all times and are never left unattended. A dog park is nearby.
The park also has beautiful backdrops of the Appalachian Mountains. This park is located in the middle of Bob Amos Park–one of Pikeville’s city parks. Bob Amos Park has an exciting playground for the kids, tennis courts, vending machines, and is close to walking trails.
Fires are only permitted on camping grills–no open fires are allowed in this Kentucky RV park. Another option for accomplishing your camp cooking goals is a camp stove.
Southern Kentucky RV Parks
8. Duck Creek RV Park
Conveniently located off 1-24 at Ext 11 in gorgeous Paducah, Duck Creek RV Park was developed to accommodate modern motorcoaches, fifth-wheels, and travel trailers. This Kentucky RV park has 89 clean, oversized, level lots available.
Duck Creek RV Park is close to southwestern Kentucky attractions, including the Land Between the Lakes Recreation Area, Historic Downtown Paducah, and The National Quilt Museum. Paducah is especially known for its year-round art and food festivals.
Laundry facilities are available along with a clubhouse, convenience store with RV supplies, propane station, and bathrooms with showers. Free cable and Wi-Fi are available, and a seasonal pool is open in the summer.

9. McDermit RV Park
Located only miles from the Tennessee border, McDermit RV Park is nestled beside Hollow Lake and is a beautiful place to visit all year round. The lake features a gorgeous waterfall that can be viewed from the RV park. This Kentucky RV park is also home to several biking and hiking trails.
The park features a concession stand, laundry area, and bathrooms with showers. Spacious gravel RV slips that fit vehicles up to 50 feet long border the lake and allow for slide-outs on both sides. Each space includes a picnic table, covered trash receptacle, and a fire ring.
You can choose an RV camping slip with or without hookups. Hookup spaces each have 30- and 50-amp electricity available. Water and sewer sites are available, and RVers have access to a dump station on site.
Private walk-in sites are also available for tent setups, and this Kentucky RV park rents out a cozy, air-conditioned cabin that sleeps four (two adults and two children).

10. Lakeside Landing RV Park
Located in Monticello–also known as the Houseboat Capital of the World, Lakeside Landing RV Park opened in 2022 next to Cumberland River. Some RV sites are located right on the banks of the lake, making this an ideal location for water lovers.
All sites are full hookups and include 50/30/20-amp electricity. Lakeview sites include an 18-foot by 60-foot concrete pad, and all other sites have a 12-foot by 16-foot patio.
Each site has a lamp post, and long-term sites have metered electric and internet available through Community Telecom Services (CTS).
Guests can park their boats on site, so they can easily access their vessels to enjoy the river without hassling with off-site parking or transportation. This is the perfect Kentucky RV park to stay in if you’re looking for a place to enjoy boating.
Lakeside Landing RV Park also includes two campers for rent, if you’d like to try out RV life: a 2-bedroom bunkhouse and a 1-bedroom camper with a queen bed.
