Summertime is the most popular travel time and for good reason. There’s nothing better than being outside on a warm summer day. But with summer temperatures hitting new highs every year, summer travel season is going to get increasingly difficult for RVers. Luckily, there are plenty of great ways to keep yourself and your RV cool in the summer heat.
In the fourth episode of The Harvest Hosts Adventure Series, the RVers share how they stay cool. The most important thing is to make sure your RV has a cooling system of some kind. The RVers recommend having a cold air fan and an exhaust fan to keep cold air coming in and warm air out. But if you’re traveling with pets, be sure to invest in a temperature control system.
Portable fans, heat-blocking window shades, and a good old-fashion water hose can also help give you additional solace from the heat.
