Gibraltar offers numerous unique attractions, but one of our favourite things to see in Gibraltar is the only wild monkey population in Europe.
These monkeys are indigenous to Morocco. Locals adore them and believe that if these apes ever leave the Rock of Gibraltar, so will the British power.
The Upper Rock Nature Reserve is the best area to find the Gibraltar monkeys. You can visit the famous Apes’ Den here without having to worry about being harassed by these playful monkeys!
Wild animals bite, so it’s wise to be careful around them. The monkeys sometimes roam into town, so keep a watchful eye on your belongings at all times.

2. Skywalk in Gibraltar Cable Car
If you crave an unforgettable experience in Gibraltar, try taking a ride on the Gibraltar Cable Car. It’s also located at the Upper Rock area.
This amazing aerial tramway, constructed in 1966, can carry up to 30 passengers simultaneously on a six-minute journey to the “Top of the Rock.” The views during ascent are breathtaking- literally- and offer some of the best scenes of the Mediterranean.

Water droplets that have been falling from the ceiling and collecting on the ground over hundreds of years have crafted stunning formations, including one infamous formation that resembles an angel with wings.
