Snag Reservations At Sold-Out Campgrounds With CampScanner

If you need help booking camping reservations at all the parks on your bucket list, we have a solution for you! We just launched CampScanner, a campground scanning platform that notifies you when a reservation that meets your criteria becomes available at the sold-out campground of your choice.

How CampScanner Works

Select the campgrounds you’re interested in, whether you’re looking for tent or RV campsites, your date range, and then save your scan to be notified once a reservation becomes available that suits your needs.

What Campgrounds Are a Part of CampScanner?

The CampScanner database includes 12,600+ campgrounds at 4,900+ parks for a total of 200,000+ campsites that use recreation.gov, Reserve America, and a few other sites for their bookings. Although anyone can access these booking sites on their own, CampScanner offers a more convenient way to book that saves you time, effort, and energy. Instead of spending hours of your life constantly checking if a new reservation is available on a difficult-to-navigate website, you can just wait for the booking link to come to you by creating a scan, which is a feature that these booking sites do not offer themselves.

Scan for open campsites in campgrounds at these popular parks with CampScanner:

  • Acadia National Park
  • Grand Canyon National Park
  • Glacier National Park
  • Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks
  • Grand Canyon National Park
  • Joshua Tree National Park
  • Mount Hood National Forest
  • Shenandoah National Park
  • Tahoe National Forest
  • Yosemite National Park
  • Zion National Park

CampScanner Plans

There are three different CampScanner plans: Basecamp, Trailhead, and Summit. Each tier offers you a select number of concurrent scans and scans the booking sites at its own interval. You can modify or delete scans at any time to stay within your scan allowance.

Option 1: Basecamp Plan

With the Basecamp plan, you get 5 concurrent scans that scan every 15 minutes. The full price is $39/year.

Option 2: Trailhead Plan

With the Trailhead plan, you get 10 concurrent scans that scan every 10 minutes. The full price is $49/year.

Option 3: Summit Plan

With the Summit plan, you get 15 concurrent scans that scan every 5 minutes. This gives you the best chance at booking the most competitive campsites! The full price is $79/year.

Current Harvest Hosts Members will automatically get 15% off their first year of CampScanner membership.
