Australian restaurant critic John Lethlean takes on Vietnam’s cuisine and its treacherous mountain trails

I interview highly-respected Australian journalist, food writer and restaurant critic John Lethlean who went motorbike riding in the north of Vietnam for a couple of weeks during his holiday in September.

John’s been writing about hospitality and reviewing restaurants for more than 25 years for some of Australia’s largest publications, including The Age and The Australian newspapers and is about to embark on a new journey having written his last review for The Weekend Australian magazine recently.

In this podcast episode, I ask John about his trip to Vietnam, how he rates the food and if he has any advice for wannabe food bloggers and vloggers wanting to be relevant in a highly competitive space.

Take a listen to what is an extremely informative episode about the travails of travelling in Vietnam post-pandemic by motorbike!
