Princess Cruises has announced its newest treat at sea, SMiZE Cream, delicious ice cream with an edible surprise in every cup created by supermodel and businesswoman Tyra Banks, that will roll out fleetwide next year.
Beginning in March, the cruise line will offer this new super-premium ice cream to guests onboard its 15 MedallionClass ships, with options such as “Brownies, I Love You,” “Caramel Cookie Queen,” and “Strawberry BirthYAY! Cake.”
SMiZE Cream Onboard Princess Cruises’ Fleet
Princess Cruises has revealed its latest super-premium ice cream offering created by supermodel and businesswoman Tyra Banks, SMiZE Cream, to be available on its 15 MedallionClass ships next year.
SMiZE Cream will be the line’s newest fleetwide treat option as an innovative ice cream brand with unique flavors and one-of-a-kind packaging, including a special, edible surprise at the bottom of every serving that appeals to the kid in all of us.
President of Princess Cruises, John Padgett said, “We’re thrilled to be working with a world-renowned personality like Tyra Banks to offer SMiZE Cream across our fleet — and there’s no doubt our guests are going to absolutely love this indulgent super-premium treat.”
“There’s nothing sweeter knowing that with our exclusive OceanNow anywhere/anytime delivery our guests will never have to wait in line for their favorite SMiZE Cream flavors,” Padgett added.
The specialty brand will come in exciting flavors such as “Brownies, I Love You,” “Caramel Cookie Queen,” “Strawberry BirthYAY! Cake,” “Purple Cookie Mon-Star & Me,” “Salted Caramel King,” and “The Best Vanilla I Ever Had.”

Beginning mid-March 2023, guests will be able to order SMiZE cups via the OceanNow delivery on-demand experience for personalized service of on-ship food and drink orders that come to you via a Princess crew member.

Each SMiZE ice cream flavor will be served in limited-edition, individually packaged servings, including a unique augmented reality (AR) activation per flavor that happens right on the cup.
Founder Tyra Banks describes SMiZE Cream as top-quality frozen custard with SMiZE SURPRiZES, a cookie dough reward, at the bottom of every cup that symbolizes and supports the company’s mission of goal-getting and dream-catching.

This treat was launched in 2020 with the purpose of giving back to others via its mentorship program, The SMiZE Cream Goalz & Dream Factory, inspiring consumers to set goals, dig deep, and chase after their dreams.

This latest treat option, SMiZE ice cream, comes after the line’s recent announcement as it became the first to offer an authentic gelato experience at sea due to its handcrafted gelato made with delicious Italian-certified ingredients.
Princess Cruises received the Italian quality status certification, Ospitalità Italiana, awarded to the line’s onboard gelato shops, offered on three of its ships: 145,000 gross ton Discovery Princess, Sky Princess, and Enchanted Princess.
