We launched a new dump stations feature on our app for ALL Members as a free trial until the end of the year. To simplify the RV life for our Members, Harvest Hosts is working on adding new features that every RVer needs in their travel toolbox.
Since the recent boom of RVing, apps with every feature imaginable have come online, adding various features. It has made RV travel better. But jumping from app to app—or website to website—gets taxing. So Harvest Hosts decided to make life easier for you and your family.
New Dump Station Feature on the Harvest Hosts App
Do you notice anything different about the maps shown above? We added 7,000+ dump station locations to its Host Location search map. These are located across North America, so you can find a dump station no matter where you travel.
These dump stations will be listed as Host Locations on your interactive map. When you click on the locations, it will include information like potable water, fees, propane availability, and much more.
If you’ve been RVing for any amount of time, you’ll realize how valuable this new feature is for Harvest Hosts Members. There is nothing worse than jumping from app to app, trying to locate all of your destinations or stops along the way, and then putting them all together. Now, with the help of Harvest Hosts, you can stay inside just one incredibly user-friendly app and find all of your travel needs—including dump stations!
How Can Harvest Hosts Members Help Each Other?
This feature is excellent, but it gets even better if all the Harvest Hosts Members participate. We know how active our Members are and have added a way for them to join in on helping other travelers.
Once you visit one of the 7,000+ dump stations across North America, you can give it a quick “thumbs up” if it is operational or a “thumbs down” if it is out of service. In addition, you can suggest edits to the Harvest Hosts Staff in case there are added features at the stop. Or if specific details need to be updated.
