As summer turns into fall, Spirit Airlines is following the trend with prices for airline tickets also dropping. They announced a sale, which must be booked by 11:59 p.m. ET on Sept. 22, with fares starting at less than $40 each way.
Tickets for this sale are for the dates between September 27 and December 14, valid only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from. There are blackout dates, however, from November 21 through November 29, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Members of Spirit’s Saver$ Club can book fares for as low as $39, while non-members can book for as low as $49. Prices include taxes and fees, but doesn’t include baggage, which is limited to no more than 40 pounds.
Passengers on Spirit can bring a personal item, like a purse or laptop bag, but it must be no larger than 18 by 14 by 8 inches.
At the lowest $39 price, can fly between these destinations listed below:
- Miami and Denver
- Dallas and Las Vegas
- Fort Lauderdale and New Orleans
- Atlanta and Orlando
- Baltimore and Miami
For just $51 each way, you can fly between San Diego and Oakland, or for $71 each way from New York and Myrtle Beach. Flights start at $82 each way for flights between Chicago and Orlando.
