History of Coffee Museum

The museum started small with some artifacts and coffee. Late Khalid converted the villa to a museum for coffee showcasing its history. The museum enlightens us on the origins of coffee from countries like Russia, the Netherlands, Brazil, Portugal, and Italy. You will also get to learn how the taste of coffee has undergone a serious change over the ages.

What To See In The Museum

This is the ideal place to learn about coffee and the history behind it.  The entire museum is divided into two levels and it is not hectic to cover all of them.

1. First Level

The first level of the museum showcases the history of coffee and the various roasting and brewing techniques. It also has some artifacts and antiques from all around the world. Here you can spend some time to know more about coffee. You will also have the chance of buying some souvenirs to take home.

2. The Second Level

The second level of the museum will give you the chance to research the different varieties of coffee from around the globe. You will have access to some books and manuscripts. The guides there will also show you films and documentaries on the different techniques used to make coffee.

How To Get To The Coffee Museum

This museum is not tough to find at all. You always have the option of traveling to this place via taxi and bus. However, if you want to get there quickly then you should take the metro. Timings Of The Museum

The museum is open from Saturday till Thursday from 9 in the morning to 5 in the evening. The museum stays closed on all Fridays. You can also visit the museum of the illusions with a discount price that you never seen before.

You do not have to pay anything to enter the coffee museum.

Things To Keep In Mind 

  • Once you are done with the coffee museum you can head out to the Art Café, which is very close to the coffee museum.
  • The museum has a lovely gift shop where you can purchase souvenirs of all kinds at reasonable prices.
  • You must not miss the live demonstration on how to brew coffee the right way.
