Watch MTB Pro Freeride the Rim of an Active Volcano in Java

Join Italian freeride mountain biker Nick Pescetto as he rides through the smoke from an active caldera in Java, Indonesia.

Maybe we’re overstating things, but it’s difficult to not get excited by any sentence that includes the words “active volcano.” So it goes with the latest mountain biking publicity stunt.

In a video from InTrouble, Italian pro Mick Pescetto rides along the rim of Mount Bromo on the island of Java in Indonesia. If you love insane outdoor stunts, it will be impossible not to feel a little jealous here.

“There’s not many locations like Bromo in the world, where you can actually ride on an active volcano,” Pescetto says.

Yeah, no kidding.
