- Snowmobiling – Oh, what a thrill it is to ride on a snowmobile down beautiful backcountry tracks and across forests that have been developed especially for snowmobiles. Some of the most stunning paths may be found in Quebec.
- Renting a canoe and touring the Algonquin Canoe Trip – It’s not possible to get more Canadian than renting a canoe, paddling out to the middle of a provincial park, and camping in the open wilderness with no access on your phone. Believe me when I say it’s therapeutic!

- Toronto is a lovely city. It’s full of charm and character, including the beautiful Queen Street West neighborhood, which boasts boutiques and restaurants in a hip area that feels like New York City but cleaner, with nicer people.
- Calgary and the Rockies – Calgary is sometimes seen as a gateway to Banff and Jasper, but there’s so much more to see and do in this wonderful city. When paired with the Rocky Mountains, you have an outstanding trip plan.
- Waterfalls in the Northern Ontario – You don’t have to go to Niagara Falls to see waterfalls. There are a plethora of waterfalls outside of the major metropolis that are all unique and magnificent in their own right.
- Tobermory is a beautiful place. The stunning rocky cliffs, clear blue seas, and perhaps the best fish and chips in Ontario make this a great weekend getaway throughout the summer.
