Clothing and Accessories
Light Jacket
When you RV you’re often at the mercy of the weather. Bringing along an extra jacket will make sure you don’t miss out on anything fun. Depending on where you’re traveling, the wind can change, surprise rain storms can hit, and you might find yourself shivering when you thought you’d be fine in short sleeves. So grab a packable light jacket and never worry about being cold.
Daypack/Safe Backpack
If you’re going to be exploring some new cities on your trip, you might want to bring a safe place to keep your wallet, money, and keys. Safe backpacks, daypacks, and travel money pouches like these will keep your valuables safe.
Big Scarf

Health and Fitness
Yoga Mat
If a yoga practice is part of your workout routine, don’t forget a yoga mat! Yoga mats roll up pretty small, and can easily be stored in a RV. Grab a travel strap to make it easy to carry the mat to and from class.
Fiber
Taking care of your health on the road can quickly become a second thought, especially if you’ve just spent a long weekend eating nothing but hotdogs. Bring along fiber supplements to help keep your body’s digestive system healthy.
Greens Packet
Similarly, bringing along easy travel sized packets of greens powder can help you get the needed vitamins and minerals if your diet hasn’t been the best on your trip. Get a boost of healthy greens by mixing these easily stored packets into your water bottle.
Dramamine
No one wants to get carsick, especially during an epic road trip! Be prepared by keeping some Dramamine in your first aid kit in case motion sickness strikes. Other over the counter medication to think about bringing include pain relievers, allergy relievers, upset stomach medication, and of course anything that has been prescribed by your doctor.

Binoculars
Binoculars are great for spotting wildlife on your trip. Pair them with a book about bird watching or about the local animals. They’re great for visiting national and state parks to identify the creatures you don’t normally get to see.
Umbrella
It may seem obvious, but it’s easy to forget. Grab a travel sized one to keep in the car or truck, or a larger version you can keep in RV. These small travel versions are great and don’t take up a lot of space.

If you’re someone who needs the dark to be able to sleep, a sleep mask is a great thing to bring. It doesn’t take up a lot of space, and it can save the day when your rig is parked right under a street lamp at the RV park. And if you’re heading to the far north in summer, you might need one of these to help sleep when the days stay lighter for longer.
Ear Plugs
Stay at an RV park next to some railroad tracks once, and you’ll know exactly why you should never forget a set of ear plugs. From blocking out the noise from an overcrowded rig to helping you sleep in a noisy campground, ear plugs can be lifesavers if you value quiet. You can bring along some inexpensive foam ones, or go all out and bring a set of noise cancelling headphones.
