Go Outside and Play
With 800 miles of backcountry trails, you can always find something new to see in the national park. Drive the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail for untold wonders, including cool mountain streams, historic structures, and scenic picnic spots. On Wednesdays from May 4 to September 28 this year cyclists should take advantage of the empty roads to ride the Cades Cove loop. For the best views around, fly high on a scenic chairlift at Gatlinburg SkyLift Park or walk across the 700-foot SkyBridge for panoramic views of the park and town.
