RAM Trucks celebrates its 30,000th truck with an EOFY deal

If you’ve ever been in the market for a tow vehicle or you own a large caravan, you would have at some point considered a RAM Truck. As pioneers of the full-size pick-up, they’ve certainly made an impression on the Australian market since they rolled the RAM 2500 HD off the production line in 2014.

RAM Trucks recently celebrated a significant milestone by remanufacturing its 30,000th vehicle, a RAM 1500 Big Horn, at its Melbourne manufacturing facility.

To celebrate this milestone and in preparation for the end of the financial year (peak buying time for small to medium business owners), RAM Trucks Australia is offering a new financial deal to help you get behind the wheel. “Mates Rates” is a no-deposit 4.99% financial offer for RAM 1500 Big Horn models sold and delivered between 1 May and 30 June 2024.

  • 4.99% APR only for approved ABN-registered applicants of Ram Trucks Finance.
  • Offer available on a 48-month loan term with a max 40% final payment.
  • No depository is required; however, the maximum deposit allowed is 20%.
  • For new Ram 1500 Big Horn stock vehicle sold and delivered between 01/05/24 and 30/06/24 only.
  • While stocks last.

“30,000 vehicles is a significant carpark in anyone’s books – that its come about in a segment that didn’t exist a few years ago is testament to the hard work of everyone involved,” said Jeff Barber, General Manager of RAM Trucks Australia.

“From our partners in the US and Melbourne to our dedicated dealer network in Australia and New Zealand, the RAM Trucks business proves that it’s possible to establish an OEM-level automotive manufacturing capability in Australia despite the closure of local automotive brands.”

About RAM Trucks in Australia

All RAM Trucks Australia vehicles are delivered straight from the global RAM Trucks production line in the US and are converted to right-hand drive on Australian shores at the Melbourne Manufacturing Facility. The chassis and body are first separated before a re-engineered RHD-specific steering system is fitted, then a new dash with RHD-specific heating and ventilation, and finally the body and chassis are reunited. The work is substantial, so it requires production line levels of quality, fit and finish, and a height of engineering excellence way beyond a mere conversion.

RAM Trucks Australia are the biggest full-size pick-up truck manufacturer in Australia. With a significant parts warehouse and inventory, along with 73 dealers throughout Australia and New Zealand, there are substantial local supply chain benefits of this fast-growing vehicle segment. As a result, RAM Trucks Australia employs over 400 people and has two dedicated production lines in Victoria.
