India’s First Bamboo Park in Tripura



How would it be to halt at a place constructed with bamboo that is surrounded by lush greenery? Doesn’t just thinking about living there make you feel peaceful? Tripura has opened the first ever bamboo park with the intention of improving eco-friendly initiatives. The park, which spans 64 acres, was created to honour the woody evergreen plant, which has played a significant role in the lives of state natives for ages. It stands for the significance of utilizing rural and local resources to create sustainable means of subsistence while keeping environmental protection at the center of any plans.

The setup of the whole park is quite unique from the usual ones. It is located 20 kilometers west of Agartala in Katlamara. A Times of India article claims that this beautiful bamboo village has a yoga center, warm bamboo cottages, a humorous bamboo bridge, tranquil ponds where flora and fauna live, winding pathways, and other eco-friendly amenities. Over 14 species of bamboo, as well as numerous natural plants, including herbs, shrubs, flowers, and vegetation, are available for visitors to see. This bamboo park in Tripura will educate the youngsters about the importance of moving towards a more eco-friendly lifestyle. 

It is a great place to spend time with your family. Visitors from all age groups will undoubtedly enjoy the experience in this park. The major highlight of this park is its yoga center, which symbolizes ancient values and traditions.
