India’s First Bamboo Park in Tripura

Tripura has opened the first ever bamboo park with the intention of improving eco-friendly initiatives. The park, which spans 64 acres, was created to honour the woody evergreen plant, which has played a significant role in the lives of state natives for ages. The setup of the whole park is quite unique from the usual ones. It is located 20 kilometers west of Agartala in Katlamara. A Times of India article claims that this beautiful bamboo village has a yoga center, warm bamboo cottages, a humorous bamboo bridge, tranquil ponds where flora and fauna live, winding pathways, and other eco-friendly amenities. Over 14 species of bamboo, as well as numerous natural plants, including herbs, shrubs, flowers, and vegetation, are available for visitors to see. This bamboo park in Tripura will educate the youngsters about the importance of moving towards a more eco-friendly lifestyle.
