Looking for new things to do around the metro? While driving or flying to other provinces may be ideal for relaxing, some may not have the luxury of time or extra budget for a quick getaway. Perfect for budget travelers, you’ll be surprised at where a P100 entrance fee can take you in the heart of the metro. Take a look at Las Casas Quezon City:

With over 300 years of Spanish colonization, there’s no wonder there are plenty of landmarks and heritage houses around the country. Some of these are found in the walled city of Intramuros or the famous Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan; with the latter known for Jose Acuzar’s collection of restored and replicas of colonial mansions from the 17th century. While this dreamy beachfront resort will make you feel like you traveled back in time, the road trip to Bataan may not be ideal for many.
Fortunately, you can indulge in the same grandeur without leaving the metro and the pricey accommodation rates. Las Casas Quezon City opened to the public in 2018 and you can have the same experience as the resort in Bataan, sans the beach setting.  This location in the metro is popular for events and photoshoots but it’s also open for day tours. For a P100-day tour entrance fee, visitors already have access to the plaza where you’ll find heritage houses, a chapel, and more.
One includes a replica of Casa Alberto, a two-story house owned by Doña Ysabel Alberto, which was originally built on December 14, 1897, along Calle Nozaleda in Intramuros.
Las Casas Quezon City also offers a bang for the buck PHP 300 Tour and Dine Package, which includes a yummy serving of traditional Filipino snacks: Puto Bumbong, Kakanin, or Bibingka, and Sago’t Gulaman.
This tour is available daily from 12 NN to 8:30 PM.

Feeling peckish after touring and taking photos? Las Casas Quezon City has two restaurants: Kusina ni Nanay Maria serves Filipino cuisine while La Bella serves Italian cuisine.
If you’re planning a surprise, celebration, or romantic dinner, you may also book a restaurant reservation that lets you dine alfresco with the plaza as your background.
They also have Happy Hour deals from 5 PM to 8 PM.
