Are you looking for the best restaurants at Universal Orlando? There are a ton of restaurants across both parks and the entire property.

You’ll find everything from big chain restaurants to quick serve stands. There are even fine dining options. But the reality is that some outshine the competition.

So, before heading to Universal, you really should know which ones serve up the best food, service, and atmosphere. And, of course, which ones you just can’t miss out on.

But don’t worry. This list has all the best restaurants at Universal Orlando. Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, and CityWalk are all covered. This way, you can narrow down your options to the places that are worth your time, money, and taste buds.

1. Mythos

Mythos is a great place to stop and recharge during a day of fun at Universal. Let’s get real, trekking through the theme park is exhausting. When it gets to be too much, it’s nice to just sit back and let lunch come to you. That’s why Mythos’ full-service restaurant is the perfect spot.

At Mythos, you’ll find tons to choose from on the menu. The Greek dishes, like the spanakopita dip and the lamb burger, are seriously so good. But you’ll find tastes from all over the globe represented. This way, you can order Shrimp Sushi Katsu Roll, Pad Thai, and Gnocchi Bolognese at the same time.

Mythos has a separate kids’ menu that is a welcome sight for parents. With things like grilled cheese, beef medallions, pasta, and even pizza, kids have a good selection to choose from.

As a full-service restaurant, Mythos has drinks covered. Specialty cocktails like the Santorini Sunset will put you in a good mood. The wine list is quite extensive, with imported and domestic options by the glass or bottle.

2. Cowfish

If you asked us where we thought the best restaurants at Universal Orlando were, we would say CityWalk and, specifically, Cowfish! On our last visit, we stayed at Cabana Bay Resort, and after checking in, we headed start to Cowfish!

Cowfish is a great combination of two normally totally different types of food: burgers and sushi. On the menu, you’ll find quite a number of both. But the magic happens when the two are genuinely combined to make burgushi rolls and pick-ups.

For a burger in a roll, try the All-American Bacon Double Cheeseburgooshi. Or for sushi on a burger there’s the What’s Shakin’ Tuna Bacon Sandwich.

To enjoy both worlds but separately, go for a bento box. It’s fusion, but everything has its own place on the dish. Then again, you can always order sushi and burgers separately off the menu too.

Regardless of what you choose from the menu, you’ll be happy. Cowfish is a fun, delicious place to enjoy a full-service meal at Universal.

3. Three Broomsticks

You’ll be transported to Hogsmead when you sit down to eat a meal at the Three Broomsticks. This quick-service eatery is a great option for food at Islands of Adventure. But the major draw is the authentic feel.

It really feels like you’re in the Harry Potter movies and there’s a good reason. The layout of the theme park restaurant was used to create the set for the film. So you can really imagine yourself enjoying a butterbeer alongside Harry, Hermione, and Ron.

As for the Three Broomsticks food, you’ll find traditional pub food. There’s English, American, and even continental breakfast options for the morning meal. Choose from classics like Shepards Pie, Beef Pasties, or Fish and Chips during lunch and dinner.

4. The Leaky Cauldron

The Leaky Cauldron has the same great Harry Potter feel as the Three Broomsticks. It’s just in a different Universal park. This great place to get a quick service English meal is tucked in Diagon Alley of Universal Studios.

Similar to the Three Broomsticks, you’ll cue up to place an order and then find a seat in the dining hall. The Leaky Cauldron has spectacular decor that makes you feel like you’re in the same eatery as the Weasley family.

The menu offers great pub food that will fill your belly and satisfy your imagination. There’s everything from bangers and mash to toads in the hole. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it’s no wonder why it’s a favorite among Potter fans.

5. Toothsome Chocolate Emporium

At the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium, you’re in for a fun, imaginary experience for you and your taste buds. The feel is whimsical and inventive, with a steampunk vibe throughout.

As you can imagine, the desserts and sweets on the menu are a must-try when you’re at Universal. Specifically, the milkshakes are so good. There are 13 different ones, so chances are you’ll find one that has your favorite flavor combo.

Beyond the desserts, the menu at Toothsome is inventive and extensive. There’s so much to choose from that it’s hard to go wrong by eating at Toothsome. There’s a full array of appetizers, salads, flatbreads, sandwiches, pastas, and main entrées. Oh! And Toothless has all-day brunch too.

Toothsome also has a killer bar. Carefully crafted cocktails will delight your taste buds. They’ll make you classic drinks like the Old Fashioned. They’ve also put their own spin on things with, you guessed it, chocolate. So, if you’re up for it, try one like the Old Chocolate Fashioned.

Real chocolate lovers should try the Cocoa Pork Tenderloin. And to drink, have a Vanilla Chocolate Cocktail. Both are tasty but don’t worry the majority of the menu is not covered in chocolate.

Voodoo Doughnuts is known throughout the country as being incredible. They started on the west coast in Portland, it’s zany, particular, and absolutely delicious. The “magic is in the hole” as they say.

Visitors to Universal Orlando are in luck because there’s a Voodoo in Citywalk. It’s actually the first Voodoo Doughnuts east of the Mississippi. This way, on your way to either Islands of Adventure or Universal Studios, you can pop in and grab a fabulous sugary treat.

At Voodoo Doughnuts at Universal, you’ll find all the goodies you love. Or all the quirky donuts you’ve heard about and are dying to try.

So, to start off, if you’re into jelly, definitely try the Voodoo Doll. It has raspberry filling and a pretzel stake through the heart of the doll-shaped pastry. Oh Captain, My Captain has vanilla frosting and is covered in Captain Crunch. Tangfastic Cake has vanilla frosting, a dusting of tang, and marshmallows.

Something to love about Voodoo Doughnuts is that they also have vegan donuts. Nearly everything on the menu has a vegan counterpart. How cool is that?

7. Antojitos Authentic Mexican

Antojitos is a celebration of the beautiful, brilliant Mexican culture. You’ll feel it throughout the entire restaurant. From the decor to the music and, of course, the insanely good food.

There are so many tasty things on the menu at Antojitos. Choose from authentic dishes like tamales and tostadas. There are also tons of tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas to satisfy just about anyone’s preferences. A great way to start off any meal at Antojitos is with tableside guacamole.

The bar is a centerpiece at Antojitos. Its large and in charge presence on the ground floor is not just for show. The bar is stocked with seriously good drinks and bartenders that know their stuff. You can’t go wrong with any of the specialty margaritas. With such a huge variety of tequilas at Antojitos, the bartenders are happy to share their knowledge and appreciation of this special liquor.

8. Lombard’s Seafood Grille

For a casual yet upscale dining experience, head to Lombard’s Seafood Grille. Located on the fisherman’s wharf section of San Francisco in Universal Studios.

Lombard’s decor combines an old elegance feeling with the sea. There are stately tables and chairs with high ceilings and beautiful arches throughout. The large aquarium in the middle of the restaurant is a real crowd-pleaser.

The Palm Restaurant Universal Orlando

9. The Palm

Sometimes when you’re visiting a theme park, you don’t want to feel like it. Instead, you crave an experience that’s of a higher caliber and class. If this is how you’re feeling, then definitely make a dinner reservation at The Palm.

The interior of The Palm has caricatures of celebrities that decorate the walls. This tradition started at the original Palm restaurant in New York City. It was there that famous cartoonists would pay for their meal at The Palm with drawings instead of money.

So what to choose? The perfect meal should start with a carefully crafted cocktail. The Palm puts its twist on the classics like the Palm Margarita, Palm Mule, or the Palm Old Fashioned. If you’re looking forward to pairing your meal with a glass of wine, you’re in luck. The Palm has an excellent selection and knowledgeable servers to help you make your choice.

The Palm is known for its incredible steak. And The Palm Orlando does not disappoint. There are ten different cuts available from prime New York strip to dry-aged porterhouse. And that’s just the steak.

The seafood on The Palm menu is stellar. The Cold Bar has delicious plates like oysters and clams on the half shell. If you can decide which to choose, the surf and turf will give you the best of both worlds.

10. Finnegan’s Bar & Grill

A traditional Irish-American pub can truly fill your stomach and your heart. Finnegan’s Bar and Grill in Universal Orlando can do this too. It doesn’t matter that it’s located in the middle of a theme park.

The menu at Finnegan’s has all the great things to love about a pub menu. You’ll find Irish classics like bangers and mash, fish and chips, Shepherd’s pie, and Guinness beef stew. The sandwiches and burgers at Finnegan’s are killer. The Webb Burger stands out with a beef patty topped with corned beef and Swiss cheese.

As for drinks, Finnegan’s bar is stocked, and the bartenders are experts. They’ll get you a pint of beer to wet your whistle. You could go classic or try any of their mixed drafts like the Black and Tan (Guinness and Bass Pale Ale) or Half and Half (Guinness and Harp).
