MSC Cruises’ Newest U.S. Based Ship Arrives in New York City

MSC Cruises’ newest United States based ship arrived in Manhattan early this morning, making it one of the largest cruise ships to ever dock there.

The line’s latest Seaside EVO-class ship, MSC Seascape, is in New York ahead of her naming ceremony that will take place Wednesday evening. It will be MSC’s first ship to be named in New York City. The Big Apple was chosen as the ceremony location in honor of New York City (Brooklyn) becoming a new homeport for MSC starting in April, when MSC Meraviglia begins homeporting there.
