New Cunard Itineraries Offer Rare Three Queen Opportunity

Luxury British cruise line Cunard has announced its 2024 fall and summer itinerary program, with engaging options for all its ships, including the debut summer itineraries for the upcoming Queen Anne.

The range of cruises for the four combined queens spans the globe, with amazing offerings to intrigue all travelers, including a unique chance to sail three queens back-to-back-to-back.

New 2024-2025 Itineraries

Combining all four Cunard ships, more than 190 new voyages are available, with in-depth, longer itineraries offering unparalleled opportunities to explore amazing destinations.

In total, the ships will visit 133 ports of call in 45 different countries, including a first-ever visit for Cunard to Nordfjordeid, in western Norway.

“Summertime evokes European glamour aboard Cunard ships,” said Matt Gleaves, Cunard’s VP of Commercial Development, North America. “Whether it’s sailing the waters of the Med or navigating through the Greek Isles, guests will see the world in style and comfort.”

Of particular interest are the 22 Transatlantic Crossings offered aboard Queen Mary 2, iconic journeys that Cunard is well known for, harkening back to the yesteryear of passenger maritime travel and elegant nautical transportation.

Queen Mary 2 will also sail a range of 7-night itineraries in Canada and New England, with a historically-rich and momentous overnight visit to Boston on July 4, 2023. Sailings along the Norwegian Fjords, throughout northwestern Europe, and the Caribbean round out the amazing offerings of Cunard’s oldest ship and only classic ocean liner.

Likewise, Queen Victoria will also offer distinctive itinerary choices, including a 14-night Istanbul, Greek Isles, and Italy sailing departing Rome (Civitavecchia) on May 13, 2024. This relaxed itinerary will include longer port visits and overnights for plenty of cultural exploration at each amazing destination.

Queen Elizabeth, meanwhile, will be sailing to more exotic, far-flung destinations with itineraries in Japan, including a phenomenal 9-night roundtrip circumnavigation of the country from Tokyo, as well as more detailed itineraries for different parts of Japan and occasional ports of call in South Korea and Taiwan.

Maiden Itineraries for Queen Anne

When the much-anticipated Queen Anne, the first new ship for Cunard in 14 years, debuts in early 2024, she will set sail on a grand season of maiden visits traveling the globe.

“Queen Anne brings even more opportunities to explore remote waterways, iconic cities, and of course all the pleasures that one would expect aboard our new Cunard Queen,” said Gleaves.

The largest ship in the Cunard fleet, Queen Anne will offer sailings from 2-19 nights to a wide variety of destinations, making 62 maiden calls to diverse ports such as Reykjavik, Gibraltar, Rotterdam, Dubrovnik, Malaga, Oslo and more.

Along the way, the ship will feature longer in-port visits and a number of late-night departures or overnight stays, giving guests ample time to thoroughly immerse themselves in the unique and glorious cultures they visit, as well as plentiful sea days to get to know the new vessel.

Queen Anne will debut in early 2024, with the capacity to welcome 3,000 passengers per sailing. The 113,000-gross-ton Pinnacle-class ship will be by far the largest in Cunard’s fleet, with art deco touches and a distinctive character worthy of her name.

“Just the way a world-renowned orchestra delivers a feeling, or takes you to a moment or an era, Queen Anne’s aesthetic would do the same in harkening Cunard’s gilded age, but through the bold, onward lens of modernity,” said Adam D. Tihany, Creative Director for Cunard.

Three-Queen Sailing

Guests who want the ultimate opportunity with Cunard can cleverly arrange three sailings back-to-back-to-back to experience three queens across a 29-night voyage.

First, the adventure begins with an eastbound Transatlantic Crossing on Queen Mary 2, then moves to Queen Anne in Southampton with a 14-night United Kingdom and Iceland voyage.

After debarking from the second sailing, a quick flight will take interested guests to Italy and Queen Victoria for more exploration and amazing experiences in Croatia, Malta, and other fascinating destinations.

All of Cunard’s upcoming itineraries will be available for booking from 8 a.m. on December 6, 2022, with loyal World Club members able to reserve their space a day early, from December 7.
