How to get a PSA Marriage Certificate (Walk-In or Online Application)

The best proof you have that states that you are married is a Marriage Certificate issued by the PSA. This is the most common requirement for “single” people changing their status to “Married,” or women changing their IDs from their maiden names. If you want that legitimate proof, here’s a guide on how to get a PSA Marriage Certificate.

A marriage certificate, as per the PSA, is a document containing important details of the marriage, signed by the couple, and by all in attendance. After marriage, it will take at least 2 to 3 months for you to get a copy of the PSA depending on how fast the staff where you got married at and the local civil registrar submits your information.

PSA Marriage Certificate – Walk-in at Census Serbilis Centers

You can get your marriage certificate as early as on the day on the main office or 2-3 days. Make sure it’s already available in the PSA office, though.

STEP 1: Print and fill-up the Marriage Certificate Application Form.

STEP 2: Proceed to the nearest Census Serbilis Centers with your valid ID. Get a queue number from an officer.

STEP 3: When it’s your time, present the form and your identification to the in-charge. You will then proceed to the cashier for payment.

STEP 4: Pay the cashier the fee of PHP 155 per copy of the Marriage Certificate. Don’t throw the receipt as you’ll need to present when it’s already available to claim.

STEP 5: Go back to the Serbilis Center on the release date to claim the copies of the PSA Marriage Certificate.

PSA Marriage Certificate – Walk-in at SM Business Center

You can also go to the nearest SM, usually at their business center to process a copy of your PSA Marriage Certificate. It will take about a week,

STEP 1: Download the Marriage Certificate Application Form. There are also forms available at SM. Fill it up with the correct details

STEP 2: Proceed to the nearest SM Business Center with your valid ID. Get a payment form and fall in line to pay the fee.

STEP 3: Submit your application form as well as the fee of PHP 180, which is inclusive of the PHP 25 Service fee for SM. Get your official receipt and claim stub.

STEP 4: Go back to the SM Business Center on the release date to claim the copies of the PSA Marriage Certificate.

PSA Marriage Certificate – Online (for those in the Philippines and Abroad)

If you want to get a PSA Marriage Certificate at the comfort of your home or because SM or Serbilis Centers are too far away, you could go with this option.

STEP 1: Go to this website.

STEP 2: Accept the terms and conditions.

STEP 3: Enter the details of marriage. Check and confirm the details and then click next.

STEP 4: Put the necessary details for the requester’s and the delivery address. Click next to proceed.

STEP 5: Check and confirm if the details you put are correct. Confirm to see the summary.

STEP 6: Carefully review the summary, and then click next if there is no error.

STEP 7: Read the acknowledgement to proceed to payment.

The payment fee is PHP 330per copy for delivery within the Philippine. For abroad, it would cost USD 20.30 per copy.

STEP 8: Pay through the following option – Credit Card, Banks, Online Banking, Bayad Centers. Just click the option you wish to use on the right-hand corner of the screen.

For Credit Card Holders or Online Payments. Click the option and Proceed to Payment. Enter your card details, click submit and wait for it to be successful.

As for the other option, go to the bank or Bayad Center with the form and pay the correct fee.

For others, bayad centers or banks. Proceed to the bank with your form and pay the fee.

STEP 9: Wait for the delivery of your Marriage Certificate.

• Metro-Manila – 4-6 working days after payment. (Additional 5-7 days for areas that are outside of courier’s standard serviceable areas.)
• Other cities or provinces –

• Other countries – The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has resumed accepting international mails to selected countries only. As an option, you can avail of special courier services through FedEx for delivery addresses outside the Philippines: PSA Serbilis Special Courier Service. For special courier services through FedEx, delivery charges shall be to the requester’s/document owner’s account and shall be billed separately and directly by FedEx.

No, you can’t. PSA has a no-cancellation policy.
