The 509 lineup of handguns from FN is a full portfolio of pistols with everything from small carry guns like the 509 Compact to essentially factory race/competition style pistols in the 509 LS Edge. At the time of its debut, the FN 509 CC Edge 9mm has an MSRP of $1,569 pushing it into an upper-echelon category for CCW. Also, if you want additional magazines outside of the 3 it comes with from the factory, magazines will run you $84.99 a piece as well. So, while this pistol is not cheap it has the best of everything you could think of. All of the components from the muzzle to the backstrap are considered premium.
