Top 10 Best Strollers for Disney 2022

Yes, you really need a stroller for Disney! Not just any stroller will do though. Here are the top 5 best strollers for Disney. Disney is a magical place where kids can be kids. And adults can feel like kids, too! But let’s get real, a day at Disney is exhausting

There’s actually a crazy amount of walking involved when you’re living it up at any of the Disney parks. It can tire out even the fittest adult. Imagine how tired your children will be walking an average 7-10 miles at Disney.

It’s recommended that families have a stroller for children even up to 7 years old. That’s right, 7 years old. So when choosing the best stroller for Disney, you’ll have to look at several factors.

When deciding what stroller to use at Disney, you have tons of stroller options. You can rent a stroller from Disney directly, rent one from a third party like BabyQuip, or bring your own from home.

Disney is stroller friendly. It’s just important to know the rules and regulations for strollers. You’d hate to show up and be turned away because your stroller isn’t allowed into the park.

But don’t worry! We’re here to help. We did all the research for you to make this process easy. Here we’ll explain the ins and outs of the strollers at Disney. We’ve even listed some of the best strollers for Disney out there that are just perfect for any Disney adventure. In this article, we’ll go over the top five best single strollers for Disney and the top five best double strollers for Disney.

What are you waiting for? Let’s get into it.

Can you rent strollers at Disney?

Yes, you can rent a stroller directly from Disney. They offer single and double strollers. Conveniently located near the entrance of each park. You can show your prepaid receipt, and you’ll be strolling in no time.

Disney updated their rental strollers in 2022. Now they are red with images of Mickey and Minnie on the canopy — super cute. If you’re planning more than one day at Disney, consider a multi-day rental. It brings down the rental fee by a few bucks, which is nice.

Something to consider is that the rental strollers are functional but not very comfortable for your little one. These cute strollers are made with hard, stiff plastic, which is durable and easy to clean. But it means that they don’t recline. So if your little one needs to nap, it’s practically impossible in the stroller.

The plastic of the rental strollers can also get really hot in the summer sun. I suggest bringing a towel or something for kiddies to sit on, so it’s not burning them.

Disney rents strollers at the main parks and Disney Springs. But they are for use only within the park. So you cannot bring it back to your hotel. Or, if you’re hitting up more than one park in a day, you’ll have to return it before leaving the one park and getting a new one at the second park. Which is super inconvenient…

Another option is to rent a stroller from a third-party vendor. Companies like BabyQuip and Kingdom Strollers specialize in renting strollers for families to use at Disney. The same dimension rules apply at the parks, but these companies have got it covered. Most will also deliver the stroller to your hotel or resort, which is super convenient.

How much does it cost to rent a stroller at Disney?

The cost of the rental depends on the size of the stroller and how many days you’ll be renting it.

To rent a stroller just for one day, a single stroller costs $15. Multi-day rental of a single stroller brings the cost down to $13 per day.

Renting a double stroller from Disney costs $31 per day. If you’re there for more than one day, you can rent a stroller for $27 per day.

How big of a stroller can you bring to Disney?

Disney permits strollers that are no larger than 31 inches wide and 52 inches long. Many strollers meet this size limit, but others do not.

It’s best to check the exact size of your stroller before you arrive at Disney. Families are often turned away because their strollers don’t meet the requirement. If this happens, you’ll lose precious park time bringing your stroller back to your car.

To reduce the stress, I’ve listed 10 of the best strollers for Disney. Including five of the best double stroller for Disney and five single strollers to use at Disney.

Can you bring wagons to Disney?

Sadly no. Wagons and stroller wagons, no matter how small, are not allowed at Disney Parks. This is part of their new regulations from 2019. If you are heading to some of the best beaches near Disney World, you can rent one from BabyQuip.

If you have a stroller wagon, I know you are super bummed. Stroller wagons are amazing, make sure to read my best stroller wagon article to find the perfect one for you but just remember you can’t use a wagon at Disney.

What are the new Disney stroller rules?

Disney updated their stroller regulations in 2019. Only strollers with a maximum of 31 inches wide and 52 inches long are allowed in all Disney parks.

Specifically, wagons and stroller wagons are not permitted in Disney parks.

What are the Disney Stroller dimensions allowed?

Strollers cannot be wider than 31 inches or longer than 52 inches. So all you have to do is make sure that your stroller doesn’t exceed these dimensions.

Single strollers are great for Disney if you have one child. You can also consider using a single stroller if you have two little ones who can take turns. Another option is to attach a ride-along board.

You can bring your own or rent one from a third-party vendor. Either way, here are some of the best single strollers for Disney.
