Malaysian Motorcyclists On Tour To Northern Pakistan 


The tour of 22 Malaysian bikers to northern Pakistan is organized by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) in association with Saiyah Travels and the Malaysian Ipoh Bikers Club.

Tourists departed from Islamabad and arrived in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on May 13.

Motorcyclists arrived in Booni after participating in the Chilam Joshi festival in Kalash Valley and passed the first stage of their Swat Fizaaghat tour. When tourists arrive in Booni, the locals welcome them with open arms. Later they went to the Polo Stadium to watch a polo match.

Motorcyclists from Malaysia bounced back on Wednesday as they reached the scenic Booni Valley in the upper Chitral River region and enjoyed the beauty of nature.

Malaysian Motorcyclists set off for Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) after visiting Shandur Top, where they camped overnight near the Shandur Polo stadium.

Visit the world’s highest polo stadium, the Shandur Polo Stadium, located at an altitude of 3700 meters on the shores of Lake Shandur.

“It’s a great place to live in a tent village, especially under the moonlight”. said Wasi Bin Abdul Majeed, captain of the Ipoh Cycling Club Malaysia. He added that it was an unforgettable moment for him.

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA), in partnership with Saiyah Travels and the Ipoh Cycling Club Malaysia, organized the tour for foreign Motorcyclists. The rally aims to introduce tourist attractions to foreign tourists and promote adventure tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Motorcyclists then set off for Khunjerab, Phadar, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

After passing through the Hindu Kush, Karakoram and Himalayas, they will travel a total of 1,950 kilometers. They visited picturesque places and stopped at various tourist destinations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Previously, the Malaysian tourists consisted of 22 passengers who arrived in Boooni via Lowari Top, Upper Dir, and Lower Dir. Also visited the meadows of Qaqlasht and Garam Chashma.

Also, enjoy the Chilam Joshi festival in Kalash Valley. They also stop at Fizzagat in Swat Valley as the first stop on their trip. When the tourists arrive in Booni, they are warmly greeted by the locals.

Motorcyclists express their feelings

Malaysian cyclist Azlan bin Mohammad Saeed said.  “Pakistan, especially Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, has a very beautiful tourist spot and people are very hospitable and friendly.”

He said they were warmly welcomed by locals as they arrived at various places during the festivals. He said they thoroughly enjoyed the trip and were humbled by the kindness and generosity of the people. Azlan said he felt safe. Also, advised other foreigners to visit Pakistan to enjoy the beauty of nature and the hospitality of the people.

Motorcyclists also praise the local and traditional cuisine and enjoy visiting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for its wonderful tourism and heritage.
