During our staycation experience at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City, we had the opportunity to dine at Certo Restaurant. Located in the lobby of the West Tower of the hotel, Certo is an Italian restaurant that has an inviting and intimate ambiance, which makes it perfect for casual get-togethers or dinner dates.
We recently had spent a few days in Italy and I enjoyed eating Italian cusine during our trip. That’s why I was glad to find out that we were going to dine in Certo. I was impressed with their menu selection, which had a good mix of traditional Italian fare and more modern or innovative options.

Restaurant Review: Certo Italian Restaurant Dubai
Certo does their best to make their guests feel they are dining in la Bella Italia. The restaurant exudes warmth and friendliness in a setting adorned with black-and-white images in stylish golden frames that evoke the genuine Italian lifestyle.
The restaurant also has a semi-open kitchen that offers a great view of the chefs in action. This is a good way to see how your food is being prepared.
Wine Cellar Centerpiece
You will be greeted by a huge wine cellar located in the center of the restaurant. It was just interesting to look at this structure which made for a wonderful centerpiece.
The restaurant has a stylish and elegant interior with an outstanding ambience, making it ideal for informal gatherings or date nights.

The menu at Certo is a delightful mix of classic and contemporary Italian dishes. We had some a la carte specials and paired it with their house wine beverages.

Appetizers
For starters, we ordered the Grilled Tiger Prawns and the Pan Roasted Scallops. We were glad to have gotten both as they were both cooked to perfection. The prawns were juicy and had a great smoky flavor from the grill, while the scallops were buttery and had a nice sear on them.

Main Course
For the main course, we had Pasta Linguine Frutti Di Mare, and Diavola Pizza. We enjoyed the seafood pasta, but the star of that night was the wood-fired oven pizza. It was so good as it’s been a while since we last had a delicious pizza in Dubai.
This was one of the best that we had during the next day of our staycation, we had another round of pizza from the hotel.

For the desserts, we had tiramisu and chocolate fondant and paired them with coffee. Both were very good and the tiramisu was just the perfect end to the meal.
