As I found when staying at two different villas in the Punta Mita complex, the ones that come with Punta Mita Club Premier Membership enjoy a whole other level of services beyond the property.
Pacifico Golf Course and Bahia Golf Course – Among all of the Puerto Vallarta area golf courses, the two at Punta Mita get the highest praise. Not just anyone can walk on and play them though. You’ll need to be staying at one of the two luxury resorts in the complex or be a premier member at Punta Mita to play at one of these Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses. Renting the right villa gets you on the greens.
Tennis Club – The Punta Mita Tennis Club has hard courts, clay courts, locker rooms, and plenty of perks. These include chilled towels courtside and complimentary balls for your game. Lessons are available to brush up your game. See more info here.
Fitness Center – Some of Punta Mita’s most elaborate villas have their own gym, but here you’ll find a wider range of equipment that can work every muscle in your body.
The Punta Mita Beach Clubs – As a temporary resident with Premier Membership, you can access the fabulous beach clubs scattered around the coast. See our rundown on the Punta Mita beach clubs here and you’ll find that they cover quite a range. You’ll most likely start with the one that’s closest to where you’re staying–for us that was Kupuri Beach Club. It can be worthwhile to branch out and see more, however, especially the newest club where you can watch surfers in action.
I especially like the Kupuri Beach Club because the views are great from almost any lounge chair and you can stroll down a very long stretch of sand that’s one of the nicest in the area: Litibu Beach.

Casa Brisa, Kupuri Estates
Located near the beach club mentioned above, Casa Brisa has 7 bedrooms and can sleep up to 18 people. With a large infinity pool long enough for swimming laps, a three-level theater room, and a game room with bar, the fun never stops here. Naturally there’s a chef and crew to prepare meals with your input.
This stunning home can cater to a variety of upscale families with its mix of master suites and rooms with bunk beds for the kids. Casa Brisa also has a spa area with steam room, a whirlpool you can enjoy in the evenings under the stars, and plenty of lounging spaces.
Casa La Vida, La Punta Estates
Enjoy 180-degree ocean views from the terraces and infinity pool at this spacious Punta Mita Villa, which has six bedrooms and a media room spread over more than 9,400 square feet in all. Use the included six-passenger golf cart to explore the area. It’s just a five-minute golf cart ride to the golf courses clubhouse.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom and cable TV, and a view, and naturally there’s high-speed internet access as well. Staffers will prepare meals of your choosing and keep the drinks coming.
Casa del Faro, La Punta Estates
If you have a large group and want to go all-out, Casa del Faro offers a five-star experience on the level of some of the region’s top hotels, but with more space and personal attention to yourselves. The sprawling villa complex has 9 bedrooms spread over 18,000 square feet, potentially sleeping up to 20.
A full staff takes care of everything so you can just relax and enjoy the pool, the views, and the services you get with your premium Punta Mita membership. The butler has a casita on the premises and is available at all times. There’s nothing between you and the ocean at this villa, plus you have access to surfboards, boogie boards, paddleboards, and kayaks. Inside there’s a media room, fitness center, and plenty of spaces to lounge or work.
Casa Bahia, El Encanto Estates
For smaller groups and families that don’t need a villa the size of a resort, Casa Bahia offers four bedrooms of various layouts and plenty of ocean views. The principal suite features spectacular sunset ocean views from its own private terrace, walk-in closets, and an expansive bathroom with outdoor shower features.
Amenities here include a heated infinity pool, garage, and gourmet kitchen. Daily housekeeping and prepared breakfast and lunch are included in the rates.
Casa Marlago, El Encanto Estates
Casa Marlago gets its name from the sea and lake views you get here depending on which way you are facing. You can also sit on a terrace and look out at one of the golf courses bordering the property.
This house has 9,000 square feet of living space, with large bedrooms and baths supplied with L’Occitane toiletries and designer furniture. Bring the family and cook with the extensive facilities here or add a chef to create those special celebration meals.
Rates here start at $2,700 per night, while the other villas range from $1,650 to $22,000 (in high season), in some cases including the support staff.
